ನ್ಯೂಜೆರ್ಸಿ: ಬಾನಂಗಳದ ತುಂಬೆಲ್ಲ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯ ಮೋಡಗಳ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆ, ಒಂದೆಡೆ ಅಮೆರಿಕದ ಆಧುನಿಕತೆಯ ವೈಭವ, ಇನ್ನೊಂದೆಡೆ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಪರಂಪರೆಯ ಪಾವಿತ್ರ್ಯತೆ! ನ್ಯೂಜೆರ್ಸಿಯ ಆಗಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 4ರ ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲ ತಂಗಾಳಿಯೂ ಮಂತ್ರಮುಗ್ಧಗೊಂಡಂತೆ ತೇಲಿಬರುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಆ ಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ, ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ರಘುಕುಮಾರ್ ಹಾಗೂ ರಂಜಿತಾ ದಂಪತಿಯ ನಿವಾಸ ಕೇವಲ ಒಂದು ಮನೆಯಾಗಿ ಉಳಿದಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಅದೊಂದು ಭಕ್ತಿಪರವಶತೆಯ ಸಾಕ್ಷಾತ್ ಕೈಲಾಸವಾಗಿ ಮಾರ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತ್ತು.

One of the most significant and captivating highlights of the programme was the demonstration of the completely revamped mobile application featuring the Vachanas of Basavadi Shivasharanas, developed under the guidance of Sri Taralabalu Jagadguru.
This remarkable initiative brings together the revolutionary Vachana literature of the 12th century with the technology of the 21st century and received widespread appreciation from the devotees.
- An Ocean of Vachanas: Thousands of Vachanas of great Shivasharanas such as Basavanna, Akka Mahadevi, Allama Prabhu and Siddharama are now available at the touch of a button.
- Simple Explanations: The application provides simple Kannada explanations of individual Vachanas, their contextual significance and translations into multiple languages for readers across the world.

The Visionary Revolution of the ‘Computer Sage’
At a time when computer technology had not yet fully entered India in the 1990s, Sri Taralabalu Jagadguru had already embarked on the pioneering mission of digitising Vachana literature.
- More than 22,000 Vachanas were computerised, leading to the creation of the ‘Ganaka Vachana’ software.
- The Ashtadhyayi of Maharshi Panini was also brought into the digital domain through the creation of ‘Ganakashtadhyayi.’

He emphasised that it is extremely important for Kannadigas living abroad to maintain a continuous connection with their mother tongue.
