ಯುರೋಪ್: ಜಗಜ್ಯೋತಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಬಸವೇಶ್ವರರ ಸಮಾನತೆಯ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ವಿಶ್ವದಾದ್ಯಂತ ಹರಡುವ ಮಹತ್ತರ ಉದ್ದೇಶದೊಂದಿಗೆ, ಯುರೋಪಿನ ವಿವಿಧ ದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಸಿರುವ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರು ಹಾಗೂ ಬಸವಭಕ್ತರು ಒಂದಾಗಿ ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಬಸವ ಸಮಿತಿ ಯುರೋಪ್ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಎರಡನೇ ಬಸವ ಜಯಂತಿ ಸಮಾವೇಶವನ್ನು 2026ರ ಮೇ 16ರಂದು ಜರ್ಮನಿಯ ಎರ್ಲಾಂಗನ್ ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಕ್ತಿಭಾವ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ವೈಭವದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಸಮಾನತೆಯ ಸಂದೇಶ ಸಾರಿದ ಮಹಾನ್ ದಾರ್ಶನಿಕ
12ನೇ ಶತಮಾನದ ಮಹಾನ್ ಸಮಾಜ ಸುಧಾರಕ, ವಿಶ್ವಮಾನವತೆಯ ಹರಿಕಾರ, ಕಾಯಕ ಮತ್ತು ದಾಸೋಹ ತತ್ವಗಳ ಪ್ರವರ್ತಕರಾದ ಜಗಜ್ಯೋತಿ ಬಸವೇಶ್ವರರ ಜಯಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಯುರೋಪಿನ ನೆಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಚರಿಸುವುದು ಎಲ್ಲ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರಿಗೂ ಹಾಗೂ ಬಸವ ಭಕ್ತರಿಗೂ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯ ಸಂಗತಿಯಾಗಿದೆ.
ವಿಶ್ವಗುರುವಿನ ಸಂದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಯುರೋಪ್ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ
ಜಾತಿ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಧ್ವನಿ ಎತ್ತಿ, ಲಿಂಗ ಸಮಾನತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ನ್ಯಾಯದ ಭದ್ರ ಬುನಾದಿ ಹಾಕಿದ ಬಸವಣ್ಣನವರ “ಕಾಯಕವೇ ಕೈಲಾಸ” ಎಂಬ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ಯುರೋಪ್ ದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಸಿರುವ ಭಾರತೀಯರಿಗೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯರಿಗೆ ತಲುಪಿಸುವುದು ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಉದ್ದೇಶವಾಗಿದೆ. ಜರ್ಮನಿ, ಬೆಲ್ಜಿಯಂ, ಇಟಲಿ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಯುರೋಪಿನ ವಿವಿಧ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಸಿರುವ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರು ಒಗ್ಗೂಡಿ ಕಟ್ಟಿರುವ ‘ಬಸವ ಸಮಿತಿ ಯುರೋಪ್’ ಸತತ ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನದ ಫಲವಾಗಿ ಈ ಸಂಘಟನೆಯನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸಿದೆ.

ಈ ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಸಮಾರಂಭಕ್ಕೆ ಚಿಕ್ಕಮಗಳೂರಿನ ಶ್ರೀ ಬಸವತತ್ತ್ವ ಪೀಠ ಹಾಗೂ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಬಸವಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಡಾ. ಬಸವ ಮರುಳಸಿದ್ಧ ಸ್ವಾಮೀಜಿಯವರ ದಿವ್ಯ ಸಾನಿಧ್ಯ ವಹಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಶ್ರೀಗಳು ಬಸವತತ್ವದ ಹರಿವು, ವಚನ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯದ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ನಿತ್ಯ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಸವ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಕುರಿತು ಆಶೀರ್ವಚನ ನೀಡಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಶರಣ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಪರಿಷತ್ ಮತ್ತು ಬಸವ ತತ್ವದ ಪ್ರಚಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀಗಳ ಸೇವೆ ಅನನ್ಯವಾದುದು.

ಬಸವತತ್ವದ ಪ್ರಚಾರ, ವಚನ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯದ ಉಳಿವು-ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆ, ಯುವ ಪೀಳಿಗೆಗೆ ನೈತಿಕ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳ ಬೋಧನೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಡಾ. ಬಸವ ಮರುಳಸಿದ್ಧ ಸ್ವಾಮೀಜಿಯವರ ಸೇವೆ ಅಪಾರವಾಗಿದೆ. ಬಸವಣ್ಣನವರ ಆದರ್ಶಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇವಲ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೀಮಿತಗೊಳಿಸದೇ, ಸಮಾಜಮುಖಿ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಜನಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಳವಡಿಸುವ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಅವರು ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Basava Jayanti Celebrations to Echo Across Europe on May 16: Divine Presence of Dr. Basava Marulasiddha Swamiji
EUROPE: In a historic move to spread the message of equality by Jagajjyothi Basaveshwara globally, Kannadigas and Basava followers residing across Europe have come together once again. Under the aegis of the Basava Samithi Europe, the second Basava Jayanti Convention is scheduled to be held on May 16, 2026, in Erlangen, Germany, with great devotion and cultural splendor.
Europe to Witness the Universal Guru’s Message
The primary objective of this event is to convey Basavanna’s core principles of “Work is Worship” (Kayakaave Kailasa), social justice, and gender equality to both the Indian diaspora and local residents in Europe. The ‘Basava Samithi Europe’, a collective of Kannadigas from Germany, Belgium, Italy, and other nations, has strengthened its foundation through two years of dedicated effort.
Divine Presence of Dr. Basava Marulasiddha Swamiji
The historic ceremony will be graced by the divine presence of Dr. Basava Marulasiddha Swamiji of Sri Basavatatva Peetha, Chikmagalur, and Basava Kendra, Shivamogga. Swamiji will deliver a discourse on the flow of Basava philosophy, the relevance of Vachana literature in modern times, and adopting the Basava path in daily life. His service to the Sharana Sahitya Parishat and the promotion of Basava values is exemplary.
